Getting Started with Genewize is quick, easy and more imporantly, FUN!

I’ve created a starter kit below to help kick-start your Genewize business. These pre-made documents are hassle-free and will help get your business going in no time!

Keep track of who you speak to!
Some helpful tips:

• Keep separate contact sheets – one for those you feel most comfortable talking to, and a chicken list for those you might be a little more hesitant to speak to. Remember, we all have a chicken list but those people deserve to know about Genewize too! Start with the easier contact list and work your way to the chicken list. (Some people who might be on the chicken list: your doctor, lawyer, accountant, self-employed neighbor, children’s school teacher, etc..)

• Keep track of how many times you’ve contacted someone. Tally off the number of times you spoke with a prospect. Remember, the more times you introduce Genewize to someone, the more likely they’ll take a good look at it!

• Highlight the names once they’ve become a Genewize customer or affiliate. This is a great way to look back and see all the hard work you put in! Remember that every person counts! And don’t forget to check in with them once they’ve received their product.

• Take detailed notes. People appreciate it when you remember key things they mention in prior conversations. If they ask for a specific brochure or link or an answer to a question, make a note of it and immediately follow through when you can.

• Follow-up! This is critical and even I have trouble with this sometimes. Life gets in the way but when you find yourself falling off with following up, jump back on track! Momentum is everything.

• Cross off anyone who has given you a definite NO. You can tell when someone is just blowing you off or really doesn’t want to hear any more about your business. Kindly thank them and realize that you are one ‘NO’ closer to your “YES!”  Corny, but true.

Please keep in mind that we are not in the NFL business (No Friends Left.)  We love our friends and family and we want them to stick around! Be tactful when approaching someone with Genewize and remember to let them do the talking! Share your story and passion for why YOU love Genewize. And hopefully, they will come to love it too.

Feel free to download the pdf version of the below postcard to hand out to potential prospects/clients/friends/co-workers, etc. It’s a useful way to get the message out there even when you’re pressed for time or looking to invite guests to our weekly meetings. Use the label template located below to place your information on the upper left hand corner of the postcard. This way, people will know how to contact you!

Without this, they won’t know which site to visit or how to get a hold of you! This label size is compatible with the Avery Label Template #5161 located at Staples or Office Depot.
